Trinity Anti Aging Regimen: Turn Back Time Without Surgery

The search for the fountain of youth has been going on for centuries. After all, as we age, our skin naturally starts to sag, lose its youthful glow and elasticity. However, going under the knife is not the only way to keep your skin looking supple and young. Time is the most valuable commodity and with technology always advancing many people are choosing to forgo traditional anti aging surgeries for minimal downtime procedures. Many medical professionals are now offering a “Trinity skin care regimen” for anti aging that includes; skin tightening, skin resurfacing and photofacials. The combination of these 3 popular services renews and refreshes your skin for a more youthful appearance. The goal of doing all three of these treatments at the same time is this, each treatment has after effects (ie. Collagen production, peeling of dead skin, peppering) that are amplified and improved by the next service. The trinity skin care regimen is the fastest way to see results without going under the knife.

As we age our skins natural collagen production slows and over time our external environment has effects on our skin. Radio Frequency skin tightening is a great way to achieve a more youthful appearance with out surgery. Skin tightening using a radio frequency laser like the Alma Accent will increase your skins natural collagen production. Collagen production created by skin tightening is key to improving fine lines, wrinkles and smoothing the overall appearance of your skin. Skin tightening can be performed on almost any area of the body and has no downtime, these treatments are recommended in a series of 6 for best results.

Skin resurfacing although non surgical does require more down time than the other laser treatments in this regimen. Skin resurfacing using the Alma Harmony Pixel will leave you red for 3-4 days with a sun burn like feeling and possible peeling on the last day of recovery. Skin Resurfacing is done by creating micro injuries in the skin using an ablative laser, these micro injuries are then healed with brand new healthy young cells, this increase in new cells plumps and thickens the skin. Skin resurfacing procedures are done with a topical anesthetic to reduce discomfort, these treatments are recommended in a series of 3 to be done once a year.

IPL photofacials are the last step in the “trinity skin care regimen”. Photofacials are used for correcting pigmentation issues while also stimulating collagen. IPL uses bursts of intense light energy to heat the epidermis and dermis, stimulating collagen production. It's best for improving skin tone and texture, as well as discoloration. Photofacials have very little down time or discomfort, most will only experience some redness after treatment. After your photofacial your dark spots will get darker and flake off, also referred to as peppering, this usually occurs 24-48 hours after the treatment. Photofacials are recommended in a series of 3 treatments once a year.

The trinity skin care regimen is a fantastic option for someone looking to diminish the signs of aging with out the down time of surgery. When skin tightening, skin resurfacing and photofacials are done together the results are more dramatic and longer lasting. Of course any of these treatments can be done alone to improve your appearance, but for the best results it is worth the investment to receive the treatments as recommended. Your skin didn’t age overnight and it cannot be reversed overnight but with advancing technology and a trusted laser technician you can get REAL results from these treatments.
